

I say that it was arduous because none of the units supplied tiered activities or modifications to the lessons/assignments, but all of the units presented the material a variety of formats. I mentioned that it was difficult to assess which unit plan used technology most effectively in the units it was even more arduous to determine which unit plan most effectively met the diverse needs of students. Not only did the teacher teach the vocabulary terms using a variety of teaching methods, the teacher also had them to apply what they learned by creating a short film. Additionally, I would conclude that this unit promoted student learning for the aforementioned reason. Not only was a variety of technological sources used, the teacher used students new knowledge of these technical terms and had them apply their knowledge by making a short film.

The unit focuses on acquiring the technical vocabulary needed in the discipline of filmmaking. I say this because this unit used technology in a variety of ways. In my professional opinion, I believe the unit entitled 3-2-1 Learning Filmmaking Vocabulary used technology most effectively. This was a difficult decision to make considering that all of the units integrated technology in some form e.g., using graphic organizers, researching internet articles, or utilizing cameras and digital imaging software. It was my task to determine which unit plan utilized technology most effectively. All of the units listed incorporated some form of technology into lessons.
